Beaches

Beaches of Plataria and surrounding area

  • Gata Beach
It is a small beautiful beach surrounded by lots of greenery and steep cliffs that make it one of the most picturesque in the area! The sandy beach consists of coarse pebbles and its waters are crystal blue clear! You can also enjoy your coffee or a snack on the sunbeds offered by the picturesque canteen.
  • Kokkinos Vraxos
It is a very beautiful typical beach as it consists of two small coves where you can enjoy your swim. You owe its name to the red rocks that surround the beach. It attracts many young people as it has a bar that operates in the summer months and offers both sunbeds and coffee.
  • Plataria Beach
It is a long, approximately 1.5 km, sandy and shallow beach with clear waters. In the summer months, it gathers a lot of people both from Igoumenitsa and from other destinations as it is located in a central, easily accessible spot. The central marina of Plataria makes the beach special as it welcomes dozens of boats every year.
  • Kalami Beach
It is a small and quiet beach surrounded by lots of greenery! In the same place you will find the campsite of the same name where you can stay as it offers plenty of space for your tent or caravan! The sandy beach consists of fine pebbles and its waters are cool! You can also enjoy your coffee or a snack.
  • Nautilos Beach
Here you will find a beach bar, area for beach volleyball, sunbeds - umbrellas for rent as well as a coffee restaurant, a little higher. But you can also dig under the shade of the tall trees on the stone terraces that are there.
  • Bella Vraka Beach
Beach connects Sivota with the islet of Mourtemeno, which is part of the complex of islets that surround Sivota. Viewing it from above, you will surely be impressed by the beautiful scenery. To get to the beach, you will literally walk on water.
  • Agia Paraskevi Beach
The beach of Agia Paraskevi is located at a distance of about 9 km from Perdika on the road to Sivota. It is perhaps the most beautiful beach of Thesprotia, since its blue-green waters combined with the islet located in the center of the beach, as well as the chapel of Agia Paraskevi, create a dreamlike and typically Greek landscape. The beach has fine and coarse sand and is organized. If you want, you can rent sunbeds and umbrellas as well as water bikes and canoes.
